I chose to use Wix Web Editor as my platform because it gave me the ability to further personalize my portfolio as a whole. I tried Digitation, and felt that the features did not quite match the aura I wanted my portfolio to emulate.

Wix is also extremely user-friendly. After trying multiple other website designers such as Squarespace and Wordpress, I believe that Wix does the best job of "teaching while designing" rather than first teaching, and then having to incorporate that information on your own.

I believe that I designed my Wix page to best convey my personal style and project the pieces I chose to include. I utilize alignment and contrast throughout the site. I added a photo of myself to increase ethos and incorporated my resume in two different ways. I also add photos to each main page that I believe personify my experiences as each type of writer. Each piece incorporated is laid out in the same way, beginning with the contextual narrative. I do this for visual purposes so that the reader is better able to understand how to access or download the piece.

I believe that my choice of website and visual design choices increase the readability of my pieces. I hope that you enjoy the format, colors, spacing, and are able to find all of the pieces accessible.
